I was raised in Kent and educated in a local grammar school. It was here where I discovered a life-long love of History.
After completing three degrees, including a PhD from Cambridge and a successful career in fundraising, I have returned to my two main passions in life – all aspects of British history and showing people the country I love and the county in which I was raised.
Using my local knowledge, academic expertise and enjoyment in sharing this with others, Kent and Country Tours started in 2022 with a specialist focus on the Battle of Britain.
However thanks to fantastic customer feedback and demand, an additional range of tours has been added which now include the most popular sites from the White Cliffs of Dover to prehistoric Stonehenge.
Whichever tour you choose, the focus will always be about giving you an experience of this beautiful part of the world that you’ll never forget – one that is fun, stimulating and inspirational.
